I am a proactive
spiritual warrior
for peace

I combat the ills of
THE HUMAN RACE
those social conditions
that cause discord
and restlessness
eventually erupting
into violence
pain and suffering
for We the people of earth   ~

as a social activist
combatant
I artistically create
a variety of body metaphors
through performance art
an act to bring back
the healing light  …..
out of the darkness
~    art creatively used
to portray a symbolic
resurrection
from the so-called
blackness
the shadows
all those buried inhibitions
and predispositions
a dis-ease of social ills
so to be aired out and confronted
through the healing process
of dialogue
THE HUMAN RACE
will come to an understanding
and then acceptance
of the way
We the people of earth
perceive   ~    think …..
communicate and cooperatively
go about solving social issues
as THE HUMAN RACE
regardless the diversity of skin color
sex
gender
nationality
ethnicity
culture
and belief
that will pave the way
proactively create
an overall social well-being
that will in time
bring forth
a humanity at peace

not just a dream
in a far away
some-day reality
but a real goal
to be had   ~
an ideology
for living
a global
social environment
created by
and for …..
ALL of THE HUMAN RACE
regardless of skin color
sex
gender
nationality
ethnicity
culture or belief
a global
social environment
of PEACE
only can be achieved if   ~

she is my BFF

she is as real
as the sun in the sky
…. shining brightly
on a cold Winter’s day
that gives off
a radiant light ….
so spectacularly
it warms
all our hearts
she is my BFF
BEST FRIEND FOREVER
I first felt her warmth
in the 6th grade
she ended up marrying
one of my dearest friends
and together had
a magnificent son
who is a son to me now
over the years
like the tides of the sea
due to circumstances
we have drifted in and out
of each others lives
in later years
as I quickly approach
my sixties
I have become
a social activist artist
and the spectacular her
her struggle
the good with the bad
has brought her forth
as a Mark Twain
Halley’s Comet type
to become one of
my most influential muses

her family life’s history
has inspired
