when the unique
and individualistic
activity
found
in the creativity
of the artist
within society
is not nurtured
deemed less valuable
it becomes silent
and still
not heard
then the way
shines bright
for the shadow
of despotism
to rob
the effect
of the artist’s
free spirit
to rove
about the land …..
…… the power
that is fueled
with choice
for the betterment
of the people
slowly is diminished
justice
fairness
and equality for all
become
muted whispers
only surviving
underground
where the artist
once again
creates
in silence
the notion
of revolution
which will start
the people down
the road of change
peace out
