if I could see beyond the sea
across the milky way
to the farthest spot
in the universe …. would I see
myself
looking back at me
through the viewer
of my Smartphone camera ~
~ or has my mind
undergone
an imaginary
sort of ripple effect
seemingly causing
me to peer
way more into
the shadowy reflection
off the shallow
pond water
captured in a photo
I took of myself
as I curiously
wander
the sidewalks
that help to reveal
the majestic sites
around and about
downtown Los Angeles
