through the window…. as the sun
goes down ~ I think of endings
like day turns to night
the year to the conscious mind
must realize its passing
and at times for some
to the point
where imagination
takes over reason… magnifying
the simplicity of a calendar
into something more than it is
doomsday and apocalypse
seem quite possible
and yet…..
at the predicted end of days
tomorrow happens
…. life in its essence
which includes humanity
goes on and on
peace out doomsayer
we’ve still got livin’ to do
