I stand naked
before you
with nothing to hide
through the acceptance
of who I am
I’ve shed like clothes
from the body
the quilt and shame
the burden
of me being me
so I can live freely
the best I can
within the shadow of
MY ABNORMALITIES NORMALITY
with the inhibitions
and the self-percieved
restrictions
it imposes on me…..
until you can do
the same
accept yourself
for who you are …..
I will fight for you ~
your freedom
from the prison
of your fears
filled with quilt
and shame
as I do for myself
’cause I have this dream
of you and me
on this walk
out in the world
with nothing to hide
completely naked
without fear
quilt or shame
free of our burden
where you and me
really create
the life
we want
for ourselves
My Image with Words were created for my friend in life, RAW.
