within a black hole
of melancholy
perilously
and relentlessly
pulled

void of mercy
causing this
cerebral dissolution
as if fated
to distort
and thusly bend away
if any ~ ray of hope
that would shed light
upon the path
holding forth relief
for a predisposed mind
treading ~ the dark side
