early to rise
asleep before 8:30 PM
first to work
leave late
the evening news
provider
of all the highlights
occasionally spiced up
with someone knocking
at the front door
the weekends
not much different
except
work is at home
watch some sports
have a few beers
I remember
the ex-wife
called me boring
I smile fondly
as I nod off
in my special chair
the voices on TV
keep me company
I live the same way
