as the republic
slides down
into the dark pit
of despot/
corporate type rule
a reversal of fortune
seems eerily improbable ~
even if the tide
can be turned again
as once before
it will be short lived
the opposing forces
are set in stone
the common ground
has withered away
and the majority
the middle
apparently apathetic
focused on the day to day
with no energy left
for participation

so it seems ……
maybe it’s time for
a real DEMOCRACY ~

has worn away
from this fascist
type erosion
its very
foundational pillar
the CONSITUTION
has seemingly
lost its footing
where DEMOCRATIC
IDEALS and LAW
ain’t no more
the replacement
for KING ~
what seemed
unthinkable
appears now
firmly rooted
in the land
that once
was supposed
to be free …..

who will not
shy away from
just saying it ~
the fall
of the republic
into a DESPOT/
CORPORATE
type RULE
empowered by some
of the super-rich
seems nigh …..

so it does seem ~
WE the people
must move beyond
just resistance
and NOW duly plan
then fight for
some better way
to a real
DEMOCRACY

like “deal with it” ~

out of the blue
the doldrums of life with FSHD1
were serenading my disposition
into its rhythm ~
as I stirred from its lure
I quickly tuned my psyche
to a more lively composition ~
the playing of music
much more
familiar to my ears
a ‘jam’ so to speak
which got me rockin’
to the beat of life’s band
suddenly ~ I
how do you say it ~
‘bust a move’
yep ~ I just danced
the doldrums
of life with FSHD1 away ……
seemingly a lapse
a temporary delusion
I guess some sort of
out of body
mental type experience
that somehow my WILL
or state of mind
makes all things better
~ FSHD1 though
collects its toll
whenever it wants
without notice or remorse
any time ~ day or night
a whole lifetime …..
it ain’t gonna disappear
with some mind over matter
