\nbuilt on the side
\nof the little cape cod
\nstyle house
\nthere is a wooded drumlin
\nwhere that maple tree
\nslants just a bit
\nas it reaches to the sky<\/p>\n

for no particular reason
\nthis Sunday morning
\nsuch a vista
\ngets my undivided attention
\nwhile drinking
\na cup of coffee
\nmy usual cognitive fussiness
\nsuddenly dissipates\u2026…<\/p>\n

…. now that’s about as real
\nas it gets<\/p>\n
