{"id":566,"date":"2014-03-22T10:53:13","date_gmt":"2014-03-22T10:53:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keithalanhamilton.com\/?p=566"},"modified":"2014-03-22T10:53:13","modified_gmt":"2014-03-22T10:53:13","slug":"spirit-of-poe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keithalanhamilton.com\/?p=566","title":{"rendered":"spirit of Poe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keithalanhamilton.com\/images\/poespirit.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>can I for one moment<br \/>\nembrace the spirit of Poe<br \/>\nas I sit in the courtyard<br \/>\nof his museum<br \/>\nmaybe not &#8230;.<br \/>\nI do know his<br \/>\nemotional torment<br \/>\nthe sadness<br \/>\nassociated with<br \/>\nthe mood of darkness<br \/>\nwhere melancholy<br \/>\nis brought about<br \/>\nfrom hypersensitivity<br \/>\nthe being tapped into\u00a0 \u00a0~<br \/>\n~\u00a0 \u00a0the cosmic vibe<br \/>\nthe music of the spheres<br \/>\nhowever &#8230; I have not<br \/>\nfound the harmony<br \/>\nas taught by Pythagoras<br \/>\nand yet the sound<br \/>\nthe gibberish noise<br \/>\ndoes humanize<br \/>\nmy poetic rendition<br \/>\nwhich I perceive<br \/>\nnot only through the five<br \/>\nbut the sixth sense as well<br \/>\nand if you factor in<br \/>\npersonal inhibitions<br \/>\nmy poetry<br \/>\nand prose<br \/>\nwould no doubt be<br \/>\nsomewhat different<br \/>\nthan Poe&#8217;s \u00a0&#8230;..\u00a0\u00a0 for instance<br \/>\nhow he and I would describe<br \/>\nthrough word<br \/>\nthe structural character<br \/>\nof the courtyard fountain<br \/>\nat the Poe Museum<br \/>\njust off east main street<br \/>\nin Richmond &#8230;.\u00a0\u00a0 Virginia<\/p>\n<p>Image &amp; Words by\u00a0\u00a0 ~Keith Alan Hamilton~<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>can I for one moment embrace the spirit of Poe as I sit in the courtyard of his museum maybe not &#8230;.
