\nis the most effective form
\nof word imagery
\nI’ve found
\nas a writer
\nit engages the reader
\nto really think about what’s said
\nin a way
\nthat makes their own
\nthought process
\ncreative onto itself
\nabout what’s written
\nas the late David Bohm
\nexpressed about poetry
\n\u201cas an art form\u201d
\n~\u00a0 having a primary function
\n\u201cto give rise to a new perception,
\nand to action that is implicit
\nin this perception,
\nrather than to communicate
\nreflective knowledge
