I can see the wisdom
\nthe benefit
\nin experiencing
\nwho you are
\nstanding alongside you
\nfor a while
\nseeing
\nperceiving
\nfrom
\nyour perspective
\nthe beliefs
\nmorals
\nvalues
\nthat are reflective
\nof your way
\nyour heritage
\nsuch empathy
\non my part
\nwill not only broaden
\nthe experience
\nof who I am
\nbut for eternity
\nit will
\nenrich my soul<\/p>\n
I see you

take the time
\nwhile you still can
\nlift the blinders
\nfrom your eyes
\nthen look into mine
\nsee past my skin
\nshed the fear
\nthe predisposition
\nthat standing
\nin my shoes
\nfor a while
\nseeing
\nperceiving
\nexperiencing
\nthe beliefs
\nmorals
\nvalues
\nthat are reflective
\nof my way
\nmy heritage
\nwon\u2019t rob you
\nof your identity
\nsuch empathy
\non your part
\nwill not only broaden
\nthe experience
\nof who are
\nbut for eternity
\nit will
