\non a journey called life
\nsaying, \u201cyes I can\u201d
\nsaying, \u201cyes I will\u201d
\nI want to explore
\nI want to discover
\nI want to see
\nand come to know
\nevery \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 if not all
\nthings possible
\n~ ~
\nlivin\u2019 \u00a0 ~\u00a0 \u00a0yes, really, really
\ndoing it fully
\nusing all those senses
\nexperiencing the nonliving
\nthose of the inanimate kind
\nalso \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 hanging out with
\nthose filled
\nby way of process
\nhaving that spirit
\nflowing about in a body
\nbeing of energy\/matter
\n~ ~
\nI \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 being that me<\/em>
\nas this individual
\nreadily,
\nwanting to do
\nthis living thing
\nwithin a curious manner
\ntooting my horn
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0so to speak
\nthrough poetry and prose
\nhoping I will alert
\nall I pass by
\nof the adventures
\nor even the misadventures
\nhappening along
\nthe snaky turns of life
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0communicating it all
\nin such a way
\nas if the spiking
\nof cross \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 ties
\nto the railroad track
\npointing out the link
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0between
\nmy words and deeds
\nof how these acts
\nhave added to the taste
\ningested by my soul
\nsort of like salt
\nsprinkled upon
\nthe evening meal
\noffering forth many
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0many flavors of lesson
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0surreal lessons
\npresenting challenges
\n\u2018cause of me being me
\nwithout leaving
\nany room for excuse
\nfor overcoming them
\nor not
\n~ ~
\noh \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 how, how
\nduring such times
\nme as the human
\nmade that \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0mistake
\nseemingly,
\ngotten a little off rail
\nlosing my train of thought
\nalmost to the point of
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0mental derailment
\nbecoming behind schedule
\nfrom my dreamed for
\nhoped for itinerary
\neven though \u00a0 ~
\nas I now see within
\nall my wrong choices
\ndid teach me
\na lot of things
\nof which shaped
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0even empowering
\nthe resilience of my character
\nto this very day
\nbeyond what
\nI could\u2019ve imagined
\n~ ~
\nso then \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 as I may
\nand shall do
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0I still
\nwithout hesitation
\nor remorse
\nwill go on listening
\nas long as I can
\nto the clickety \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 clack
\nof life \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 expressed
\nthrough my words
\nas shared with others
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0poetry and prose
\ncoming forth to fruition
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0while
\nchoo chooin\u2019 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 down the track<\/p>\n
