for me \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 there is no better way
\nto know and fully experience
\nthe rich bounty of life
\nintertwined with the non-life
\nthose inanimate aspects
\nintegral to the formation,
\nthe beauty \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 the raw power
\nof which at times
\nbringing about a force
\nof horrid destruction
\ncausing a loss to the living
\nand yet \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 in spite of
\ncomprising,
\nthe very fabric making up
\nNature\u2019s splendid being
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0for me then
\nto get out into
\nthe fray,
\nthe motion of it all
\nand trudge along
\na torrent and rugged river
\nlike the east branch
\nof the Pemigewassent
\nbarreling through a place
\ncalled Lincoln Woods
\ndeep within the White Mountain
\nNational Forest \u00a0 ~<\/p>\n

~ \u00a0 \u00a0\u2018cause while kneeling one day
\nupon a smoothed out rock
\nafter jumping to its dwelling
\namidst the rumbling stream
\nyes doing so \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 with a mindset
\nto somehow sense the feeling
\nof what such a reality may \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 be
\nsuddenly \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 a wave of energy
\neerily and yet,
\nwith a familiarity
\npasses as if some spirit
\nthrough the soul
\nnudging intuitively
\nthe body to turn and look
\nseemingly \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 towards
\na preordained direction
\nwhere the sun\u2019s light
\nfiltered through the clouds
\nprovides the ideal overcast
\nupon the waters
\nfull of rock and stone
\nto be \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 instantly captured
\nas if perfection
\nby the imperfect
\nand simplistic means
\nof a Smartphone camera
\nsnapping a shot in Nature
\ncreating a moment \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 which
\nbestows an everlasting blessing
\nthat gift of spiritual enlightenment<\/p>\n
