\nfor not attaining
\na certain measure
\nof celebrity
\namong the people
\nas if the north star
\ntaking center stage
\nshining far more brightly
\nthan any other
\ncelestial body
\nway \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 way up in the sky
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0however
\nI do fear
\nas a person
\nwho writes words
\nthe loss suffered
\nto humanity
\nif artistic creations
\nlike my style
\nof poetic words
\nmust take on
\na secondary role
\nto me \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 the creator
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0wherefore
\nstanding silently
\nwithin my shadow
\nawaiting patiently
\nfor me \u00a0 ~
\ncampaigning for
\nenough popularity
\nas if running
\nfor some political office
\nstruggling for notice
\nwithin social networking hell
\nthat damn necessary evil
\nbefore my poetic words
\nare given even \u00a0 ~
\na baby\u2019s breath of a chance
\nto be read
\nto be heard
\n~ \u00a0 \u00a0therefore and therein
\nI call out for recognition
\nfor my words sake
\nnot so much for me \u00a0 ~
\nwhere they can
\nbe published
\ndistributed in a way
\nnot so unlike
\na Thomas Paine
\npamphlet of old
\nand yet \u00a0 ~
\nrather than
\nthe printing press
\na format like the internet
\nof which \u00a0 ~
\nmy words shall be
\nfreely accessible
\neasy to search for
\nto find \u00a0 ~
\nas well as
\nbeing affordable
\nfor the people
\nso it is \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 only the people
\nwho will freely judge
\nthe full worth
\nthe significance

\nafter undergoing

\nthe people
