I’ve heard it said,
\n\u201cpoetry on why you write poetry<\/em>\u201d
\ncan make a person
\nwant to cringe
\nas well as using clich\u00e9s
\nunless determined
\nby the THEM<\/em> \u00a0 ~
\nto be used in some unique way
\nguess
\nwhen I use a \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 ‘squiggly<\/em>‘
\nbeing me,
\na poet of individuality
\ndistinctively augmenting
\nthe flow spewing my inter-voice
\nis like that overused saying,
\n\u201cfingernails on a chalkboard<\/em>\u201d
\nto THEM<\/em> \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 poetry critics \u00a0 ~
\nif you say so,
\nwhatever \u00a0 ~
\nif poetic word is not \u00a0 ~
\nexploited to self-portray the act
\nthe doing of the poetic experience
\nwhat a disfavor to the flavor
\nthe embodied essence
\nentwined within the poetic form \u00a0 ~
\ncreativity\u2019s originality
\nexpressed individuality
\nbrought forth from within
\nwords of thought
\nenmeshed
\nbrewed
\nwith the tang
\nthe twang
\nof linguistic mannerisms
\ntempered with the humdrum of clich\u00e9 \u00a0 ~
\nonly to be exposed by some
\nas if a deficient use of poetry
\ntainted during dearth rubbed off
\nwhile living among \u00a0 ~
\nthem people
\nthe everyday
\nkind of folk \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 cringe<\/p>\n

\u201cMy poetic words of thought embody creativity\u2019s originality brought forth through a process of expressed individuality; appreciatively though, my poetry is also socially embedded with the linguistic mannerisms that are representative of the everyday kind of folk of which I\u2019ve experienced life.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n
