\nthe physical me
\nhow I move my body
\nhow I speak my words
\nhow I try hopelessly
\nto sit quietly, alone
\nyet mumbling to myself
\nor how I try in vain
\nto stand upright

\nforlornly,
\nbegrudgingly
\nwhile I practice the art
\nrevealing my unique
\nstyle of relinquishing
\nrebelliousness
\nto the subduing hands
\nof social conformity
\nmomentarily
\nseconds,
\nright before I say
\nthe hell with this
\ndamn it all,
\nI\u2019m fuckin\u2019
\nout of here \u00a0 \u00a0~
\npeer then into my eyes
\nfor one little moment
\nthrough the window
\nnoticing my mind
\nme thinking
\nthoughts
\nspinning like a top
\ntwirling,
\nwhirring
\nas if some blender
\nprogrammed forever
\njust to churn away
\non and on
\nseemingly resistant to
\nside stepping
\nalong the way
\napparently in avoidance
\nto that unidentifiable
\ninsipidly bland
\nswamp of puree \u00a0 ~
\nthen go deeper
\nlisten to
\nmy heart beat
\nits bloody rhythm
\nits heartfelt concern
\nnot entirely for me
\nbut that circulating
\ncare and hope
\nthroughout me
\nbrewing in my veins
\nwanting the best
\nthe most possible
\nto happen,
\nto come about
\nfor all things
\nfor all else
\nwhether it be
\nthe living
\nor the nonliving
\nwithin the physical
\nor the nonphysical
\nso deemed as Nature \u00a0 ~
\nseeing then more of me
\nthan my shell
\nwherefore
\nfeeling my energy
\nthe vibrancy held
\nas me, individualized
\nbeneath the glow
\nof my human aura
\nand yet only
\nviewing a glimpse
\na brief snapshot
\nof my body
\nof my character
\nof my spirit
\nof my soul
\nme being as I am
\nliving my journey
\nnot the whole
\nthe totality
\nor my complete life
\njust teeny little,
\ntiny bits
\nas fragments
\nleft there behind
\nbefore everyone
\nwho wants to know
\nwho I was
\nwho I came to be
\nwho I now am
\nas I live, lived
\nand will continue to live
\nmy life, my way
\nwithin the space of
\nmy time
\nliving among and together
\nwith everything
\nI experience as all else
\nwhen and while
