wonder all around me
\nstars, planets,
\ngalaxies galore
\neven there
\nbefore me
\nthe tree, the plant
\nthat ground, that rock
\nwater flowing
\nalong its proverbial path
\nwind blowing about
\nwhipping sand into a vortex
\ncausing the wild flowers
\nof the meadowland
\nto wave an aimless tune
\nright there,
\nbegging me
\nto notice for a time
\nand hopefully
\nto remember
\nthat their existence \u00a0 ~
\nwas not
